Label review for the UAE is often requested after English artwork is finished. That sequence leaves too little room to correct missing warnings, truncated Arabic text or claims that do not match the technical documents.
A more reliable method is to freeze the regulatory content first—ingredients, particulars, claims, warnings—and only then complete layout.
Consistency matters more than style
MEPA’s label reviews look for whether required information is present, whether it matches the formula or specification, and whether Arabic and English panels say the same thing on the points that matter. Stylistic translation preference is a separate discussion.
Artwork is a controlled document
Once a pack is in review or on the market, a design change can become a variation. Teams should know which elements are decorative and which are registered or notified particulars before briefing an agency.
